Cheese Problems

So it really irritates me when I have a brand new bag of shredded cheese, and it's got one of those little "open here" things, but when you rip it open there, it doesn't actually open the bag; it's still sealed shut so you have to go get some scissors or hack away at it with a knife until you can get the cheese out. I mean, what is the point of having a special place to open it that doesn't even work?! It just gets my hopes way up, thinking I'm going to have a nice easy time opening my cheese so I can make something delicious like a quesadilla, and then it all just comes crashing down when it still isn't open! Gosh.
